- Work with employers and professional bodies to align apprenticeship and other development programmes with the criteria required for professional technician registration.
- Highlight the transferable nature of professional technician’s skills, competences and ethics in training programmes recognise and publicise the contribution professional technicians make to UK plc.
- Support the professional technician brand by highlighting where training has been approved as being consistent with the brand.
- Produce CPD training programmes relevant to existing professional technicians and encourage/support retention of registered status.
